FAQ
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, as a small private specialty practice, I do not have the capability to bill insurance. Most client insurance does not cover the cost of specialty behavior services or for behavior services provided outside of an office or when the practitioner comes to you. About 15% of my clients do have insurance that covers the type of service I provide, and I can describe how my clients submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement, but cannot assist in the actual process.
Are you able to accept Regional Center/DMH/EMAP Reimbursement for clients in St Louis and surrounding counties?
Yes, after paying an invoice, it can be marked as paid, and you can submit it for reimbursement if you meet the program’s eligibility and time requirements.
How is your rate configured?
My rate depends upon drive time from my office, which is located by University City St. Louis close to Clayton. Please contact me for an individualized rate for consultation to your area or for my current teletherapy or online rate.
Where do you provide in-person service?
I provide direct or in-person service in: St. Louis, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans with occasional consults in other areas. I supplement in-person consultation with online appointments.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Zelle, personal checks, or you can set up an electronic/bank check through your online banking service.
What areas of St. Louis do you service and what’s your availability?
I see clients all over the St. Louis metropolitan area and in about 30 schools throughout the school year. Please note that some time slots are completely full and only waitlist spots are available for 8:00, 4:00, and Friday appointments. I have daytime availability 9-3 Monday through Thursday, and am generally full for the week but have appointments available if you book out 2 weeks or more.
